BibleTales Christmas First: Elizabeth tells the tender and joyful story of two mothers brought together by promises only God could fulfill.

After hearing Gabriel’s wonderful news, Mary hurried into the hill country to visit Elizabeth. At the sound of Mary’s greeting, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leaped for joy. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Elizabeth welcomed Mary with a blessing and recognized the Lord she carried. In that quiet home, surprise became praise as Mary sang of God’s mercy, His care for the humble, and His faithfulness through every generation. For three precious months, the two women shared their work, their waiting, and the wonder of what was to come.

Told in gentle, poetic language and framed by the warm voice of a grandmother reading to her grandchildren, this richly illustrated book weaves Scripture, history, and devotion into a story children will treasure and parents will love to share. It is a warm companion for family reading, bedtime devotions, classrooms, and churches.

Part of the Christmas First series, Elizabeth invites readers into a home filled with welcome, encouragement, and song—and reminds us how beautiful it is to trust God’s promises together.
